Common Core!

I am quite flattered that my district chose me to be on the Common Core planning team! Down fall is I have to be out of my classroom 9 days! But I get to map out and plan English Language Arts Common Core Standards for the entire year for kindergarten in the district! A lot of pressure, but it is an interesting process. I found that it has helped me understand the standards a lot more, because I created "I Can" statements this summer.  Ahhhh tomorrow will be day 3 of unit planning.
