MLK Day

I usually talk about Martin Luther King the week of his birthday, but I decided this year I am going to make the week before all about Martin Luther King! I am going to start tomorrow by reading a story about him and then having the kids do some fun activities to celebrate such a wonderful man in American history. I only hope they remember MLK better than they remember Christopher Columbus. I asked them the other day as a review, "Who was at the first Thanksgiving?
