Last Week of School Activities

One of the worst things about being a teacher is saying goodbye to the kids on the last day of school. I probably get too attached to my kids, but I can't help it! They are with me 180 days a year for 6 hours a day! I love them like they are my own. So for the last week of school, I planned lots of fun activities to distract our brains from the inevitable last day!

Magnet car races - there is a magnet at the end of the stick and at the back of the car. It's a fun way to teach kids about repelling.

Who doesn't love these guys?!

Experimenting with magnets

Investigating magnetic vs not magnetic

Crazy Sand - I personally find this sand super relaxing and therapeutic!

Painting with toilet paper rolls

Fuze beads! - if you've never used fuze beads, you need to stop reading this and go buy some immediately. So much fun!

Watercolor painting

Father's Day gifts - we wrote letters about why we love our dad and then folded it up into the t-shirt/tie bag.

Painting with stamps

And probably one of the best purchases that I've ever made...the giant parachute!
