Johnny Appleseed Day

Johnny Appleseed Day was a hit! I asked for Apple treats donations so that we could do an apple treats taste test! We had: Apple juice, Apple cider, applesauce, Apple muffins, Apple pie, baked apples, Caramel apples, and dried apples. We started with an easy template to follow after each bite to record if we liked each treat or not. The kids had a blast. Then we did a separate taste test for green, yellow, and red apples. They chose their favorite color Apple cut out and hung it up on our Apple tree. I was surprised to find out the winning Apple was yellow! I don't know why, but I just assumed it would be red!
