Okay...I am in love with my theme this year! My dad even made a Mickey Mouse clubhouse for the kids to read in this year. Here's some pics of my kindergarten classroom this year!

Here's a glimpse of the umbrella table and the data wall (our goals).
A close up of our goal page. As the kids master each goal, they get to color in that box. It's easy to tell them which one to color, because it's filled with recognizable Disney characters.
Our writing wall has a specific spot for each child's paper as well as a picture with each of them in the Mickey car. I was excited to have space this year for our shared writing posters we like to make weekly. Also, included on this wall is the Celebrity Writer wall. A spot for the best writer each month that I have chosen to spotlight.
A close up of my Mouseketeer of the Week door! They get to take home a backpack full of goodies for a week which includes: a Mickey plush, Mickey journal, Disney book of stories, and an All About Me Poster.
This picture also shows my classroom management chart. The kids all have their name on a magnet and they start on green each day meaning they are having a good day. The can move up or down based on their choices that day with varying consequences.
Our monthly award winners wall for Character Counts. I like to take their pictures and put them in each pillar as they win.
I am so proud of the number line and alphabet line that I made myself!
Our calendar wall with our calendar, 100th chart, place value chart, birthdays, weather graph, and our helpers for the day.
Our welcome bulletin board. Since not many parents come inside our room daily, instead of putting up newsletters and such, I put up pictures of the kids and my former kids.
My mom set up our clock to look like Mickey!

I even painted my nails for back to school night!
Here's the tables all set up for the first day of school with a coloring page and a name tag. It always amazes me how fast I learn all of their names.
