Dr. Seuss - Read Across America Day

I love love love Dr. Seuss Week! We've been trying to read as many Dr. Seuss books as possible and we check them off on our book chart. I'm always amazed at how many I have collected throughout the years, but my personal favorite might still be "The Sneeches".

We did some fun projects to go along with a few of the books.

The Sneeches - We wrote about something special and unique about ourselves.

Cat in the Hat - We made rhyming hats that rhyme with -at and did a directed drawing of the famous cat.

Oh the Places You'll Go - We used tear art to decorate a hot air balloon template. This project isn't actually done yet, but I hung them up anyway. Next week we are going to write where we would go if we could go anywhere.

Horton Hears a Who - we made Horton puppets with brown bags.

And of course I had to twin with my teacher bestie :)

Here was our fun week of dress up days!
