Thankful for Donors Choose!

In honor of Thanksgiving in a couple days I thought I'd share something I am super thankful for as a teacher, DonorsChoose.org. I am so thankful that I discovered Donors Choose. About a year and a half ago I started writing essays to Donors Choose in hopes to get some super fabulous, expensive resources for my classroom that I wouldn't normally be able to buy with my own money. Since then I have recieved an iPad, audio books both fiction and non-fiction, listening center wireless headphones, listening center rolling cart, and now LeapReader and LeapTAg with a bunch of interactive books. Every time one of my projects gets funded I can't stop crying, because I am beyond thankful and so excited to use them with my kiddos. I have received funding for resources up to $3,644.73!! Seriously blessed! I encourage every teacher to write an essay about something you're dying to get for your students and try Donors Choose!
