Thanksgiving Feast

The week before Thanksgiving was so much fun. The room was super decorated with turkeys everywhere! We made these thankful turkeys and then did a writing activity with our 3rd grade buddies. 

Here is our thankful tree. On each leaf the kids wrote about something they were thankful for to share at our Thanksgiving Feast.

This was the first year I've tried to have a Thanksgiving Feast in my classroom. I created a list of yummy ideas and had a sign up list posted for a week. So many families signed up and RSVP'd to come.

We made turkey center pieces and placemats for decoration which turned out so beautifully! I was worried we wouldn't have enough food, but I was totally wrong! We had ham, mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, fruit salad, cookies, pumpkin pie, Boston cream

Pie, and Apple pie...just to name a few things!!
