100th day of school!

I can't believe it's already been 100 days of school!! I have my classroom all ready to go tomorrow morning with some fun centers! Classroom parents so generously donated all of these goodies for our 100 goodie sort. I made a sign up list of 10 treats and was so excited when everything was signed up for! I'm sure the kids will enjoy this activity!
We will be making 100 day crowns and writing to 100 by 10s on the sentence strip.
For our writing center, we will be writing about what we would do with $100! I know what I would do....I'd take a day off and go get a relaxing massage! :)
This was a favorite last year, the 100 blocks stacking challenge! They loved trying to build a sculpture with all 100 blocks.

We will illustrate 100 by painting gum balls into the mini gumball machines. Each gumball machine will get 10 gumballs. And to make it even more fun, we will use paint and Q-tips!

The big challenge table!! If they can count to 100 they will earn $100 and a special award welcoming them to the "100 Club"! Woot woot!
We took a class picture of the kiddos that made it into the 100 club!

I love my colored table cloths and polka dot balloons! But then I realized I forgot to buy streamers!! Nuts!
I'm so excited for tomorrow! I'll update tomorrow with some action shots. I also have some other fun activities planned; such as, "The 100 Seconds Challenge" which is a timed event to see who can write the most words in 100 seconds. They were so motivated to write! The winning student had written their name 16 times!
I'm also going to bust out my giant parachute and throw 100 balls on it! They had the time of their life with my parachute!
