I Love Word Walls

I looooove word walls and I think they can be a super resource for writing. This month my class has really started fully understanding the power of the word wall and I catch them using it constantly instead of always having to ask me for help. I love when I catch them using it. So proud of them!! I've always had my word walls attached to a wall, but this year I wanted my word wall to be more mobile and accessible for the kids. I created my word wall out of that presentation cardboard stuff and I just tape up the words we learn each week. I put little stars next to the focus words/letter of the week.
