Groundhog Day!

I always hope that Phil will see his shadow, lol. I enjoy the cold weather! Unfortunately, he did not see his shadow, but we still had some groundhog fun in the classroom! 

We made groundhogs.

We wrote about what we would do if we had a pet groundhog. They had some pretty cute ideas.

And we had a team challenge matching uppercase letters and lowercase letters using groundhogs and burrows. I thought this activity would be super challenging since there are still a few letters we haven't Learned yet. But wow! Every group made it look easy. I'm sure proud of my kiddos!
