St. Patrick's Day

I might be biased since it's the day after my birthday, but I just love St. Patrick's Day.

We began our first St. Patrick's Day project today by writing about what makes us lucky. And then we fingerprinted the rainbow.

Then we did a leprechaun directed drawing. I always love these!

The leprechaun of course came to visit leaving footprints, glitter, and gold everywhere! He left a note on the board encouraging the kids to find his pot of gold and he would share it with them!

The kids loved inspecting their traps! Today was fun, but exhausting! I'm so glad a majority of the kids believed the gold was real! Thanks to my awesome dad for finding rocks and spray painting them!

And here's a snapshot of the sneaky leprechaun lol
