Halloween party!

Our Halloween party consisted of pumpkin ghost bowling, pin the bow tie on Mr. Bones, pumpkin shape project, Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin movie, and lots of candy and cupcakes!

Let's start with pumpkin ghost bowling. Each bowler got a fake pumpkin and took turns trying to knock down ghosts (styrofoam white cups with ghosts face drawn on them). It was so fun to watch! And when they knocked down ghosts it totally sounded like bowling pins.
Then we played pin the bow tie on Mr. Bones. Each student took turns being blindfolded and spun around about 10 times and tried to put a bow tie closest to  Mr. Bones neck bone. They enjoyed this game and was a great time filler after our school Halloween parade.
Then we did a jack-o-lantern craft using shapes. They decorated their pumpkins and had to write how many of each shape they used.
I also was a fan of grading their homework today, because it was a cute little activity to go along with "5 Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate".
Today was exhausting! Kindergarteners, Halloween, and pouring down rain make for a crazy day! I can't believe 1st trimester is officially over! Oh and here are my spider cupcakes I made for the kiddos.
Lastly, I love Halloween and love dressing up. The kids kept calling me "Miss Snow White" all day and I loved it!
