My 2016-2017 Classroom Reveal

Tomorrow is the 8th day of school and so much has happened already! Let's start with my new classroom theme this year, Superhero!

Celebrity writer board - I choose one special writer a month to showcase on the wall

Student of the month wall for the monthly character pillars 

Another project wall - I found these fabulous letters at Hobby Lobby!

The focus wall - the list of the school goals, depth of knowledge questions, our daily essential questions in ELA and math. 

Instead of book boxes this year, I love these chair pockets on the back of their chairs to store unfinished work and books. 

And then....my mom, dad, and I built a batmobile aka "bookmobile" as a reading spot for the kiddos.

And here are my awesome mom & dad helping decorate my room haha :)

And what I wore on the first day of school! Pretty sure it was a hit with the kids, just a little hot though haha
